Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her performance as Margo Hanson in the Syfy the fantasy-based drama The Magicians (2015-present). In the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she portrayed 13-year old Lebanese American young girl Jasira who is amidst a turbulent living situation in the context of the U.S. invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War. Her character was then named one of the 10 actors in Variety's list of Actors to Watch for 2007. Her character was a powerful one Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 crime drama film Crossing Over for which she received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Leading Actress category.
